Manor Gardens Primary School

At the start of this new year the School Governing Body would like to welcome returning children and their parents and new children and their parents to Manor Gardens Primary School. We would also like to welcome new staff that have joined the creative and dedicated team of educators in the School.

As the School Governing Body we urge everyone to participate actively in the life of the School be it attending music concerts, spectating at sports events or helping with fundrasising and manitenance drives. We are always eager to work with energetic parents in helping to make the School better serve the needs of our children now and into the future. If you have any specific talents to offer or just have some time or ideas to contrbute please let us know. Later this year (2009) elections will be held for the Governing Body posts and we urge you to participate in this democratic process.

The School Govenring Body (SGB) is also repsonsible for the finances of the School. Manor Gardens Primary School is a fee paying School and we require the full commitment of our parent body to meet fee obligations timeously to ensure we can continue to retain the high standard of education and the unique environment of the School. As a small school with only 50% of our staff paid for by the state we need the full cooperation of parents in ensuring that the School can sustain itself with confidence.
