Manor Gardens Primary School

We will be holding our Mini- Cricket Fun Day on Saturday 28th November. It will be an opportunity for dads or moms to play in a mini- cricket match against their sons. Each child will get a chance to bowl and bat against their parents and vice versa. Depending on numbers, we usually have 8 players in each team where children and parents will bat and bowl in pairs. Each pair will have about 8 – 12 minutes (also dependent on numbers) to bat and bowl. When a pair is not bowling, they will be either fielding or wicket keeping, and when a pair is not batting, they will be waiting with the rest of the batting team on the side. 2 runs will be subtracted for each wicket taken against a team, and there are no boundaries for 4s and 6s.

All players must arrive at Manor Gardens at 8:00am so that we can begin at 8:30am and finish at approx 10:30am. There will be a rest break between the innings. The tuck shop will be open throughout the games for refreshments.
