The Dekadt Children
Hi there
I can't find a better way of communicating with MGPS, and I just wanted to let you know a little about the achievements of three of your past pupils (me and my two siblings), who owe a great debt of gratitude to MGPS. We all gained a huge amount from the school.
Julia de Kadt (Grade 7 in 1993) matriculated with 7 distinctions and went on to study for a BSc (Phi Beta Kappa) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MA at Princeton University on a Tokyo Foundation Scholarship.
Christopher de Kadt (Grade 7 in 1995) matriculated with 5 distinctions and went on to study for a BSc Hons at the University of Natal and an MA (with distinction) at the University of Cape Town. He currently works as a computer scientist at Amazon.com.
Daniel de Kadt (Grade 7 in 1999) matriculated with 6 distinctions and went on to study for a BA Hons (Cum Laude and Summa Cum Laude) at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and is presently enrolled for an MPhil at the University of Oxford on the Cecil Renaud Overseas Scholarship.
