‘Champions aren't made in the gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them -a desire, a dream, a vision.’
Muhammad Ali

Please Note

Ø Congratulations to Tebogo Makhuba for being chosen for the Umlazi District Hockey Team.

Ø Well done to the Grade 2 & 3 teams who played in the mini soccer tournament at Friday night where both teams won their leagues. Congratulations to all who participated.

Ø Protective gear is highly recommended for hockey and soccer this term.

Hockey      : Gum guards, shin pads, hand guards

Soccer        : Shin pads, soccer boots (not takkies)

Ø  It is essential that every child who wishes to play softball this term has their own mitt. Manor Gardens like many other schools does not stock mitts as we encourage children to purchase their own. Temporary plastic mitts can be bought. It is advisable however, to buy a proper leather mitt. Even though they are expensive, they do not only last much longer, but also provide more cushion and protection when catching or fielding a ball.

Ø Mr Griffiths has kindly organzied Miss Taryn Stevens,a Natal touch rugby player,  to help with touch rugby on Fridays while he is recovering from his ankle injury.

Ø There will be no chess until further notice.

Thank you.
