Manor Gardens School aftercare is a facility offered by the school to create a safe environment for children whose parents are at work in the afternoo. The school employs three assistants
Mandy Barnes - Grades 1 and 2
Des Wesson - Grades 3 and 4
Leone Lemmer - grades 5,6,and 7
Homework - written work only is done with the grade 2 children in the young group. Homework is supervised for grades 3 to 7, with those whose parents have requested it. Grades 5 to 7 have a room available for quiet study for tests and exams.

There are 3 aftercare rooms in which children are divided - grade 1-2, grade 3-4 and grade 5-7. The rooms are equipped with books and games and there is plenty of time for socialising and interacting with others. Children are also encouraged to complete their homework during their time spent at aftercare.
