Grade 2 looked at the many different ways and reasons we go on journeys.   They had a fun dress up day when each child portrayed a different type of journey.

This term we are busy with our new theme: "What's in an egg?". It is proving a very exciting and worthwhile theme which the children are loving! We will cover these broad areas: nursery rhymes, hens and chicks, frogs and other amphibians, fish and other sea creatures, reptiles and egg experiments. Some of the skills we are working with are : creative and fact based writing, true and false, missing words, labeling, listening for detail etc. In Numercay we are busy with plus and minus revision, breaking up numbers, halving and doubling, number patterns etc.

Our comprehensive, ongoing programme includes learning about: religion, culture, the environment, heathy living, physical education, design and technology projects and much, much more.

Small groups of children, and individuals, are assisted by a qualified remedial teacher.
